Did you know that every year the University produces enough waste to fill 75 double-decker buses?
The summer saw a roll out of a fully integrated recycling scheme at City. City is proud to be one of the first London universities to introduce such a comprehensive recycling scheme - for staff and students, on campus and in halls, you will shortly be able to recycle almost everything; from paper waste to furniture.
If you look around you will see recycling containers appearing throughout the estate which can be used for paper, newspapers, cardboard, cans and glass as labelled. You will still be able to recycle toner and printer cartridges through the PC shop.
