Find The Time

Find the Time is a charity aiming to raise awareness and getting people to join the Bone Marrow register by doing Appeals at universities. Students are an untapped source of potential bone marrow donors.

This is in order to increase the chance of survival of patient requiring marrow transplants. By increasing the number of people on the bone marrow register we can increase the probability of finding a match.

Bone marrow matches are found within the same ethic groups. For example, an Asian patient would find their match within the Asian community. The same can be said for African-Caribbeans, Caucasians, orientals, Hispanics etc.

Currently there are patients from varying ethnicity's who desperately need Bone Marrow. However, many ethnicity's are grossly under-represented. The aim is to raise awareness, correct misperceptions and increase the potential donors from all ethnicity's thus increasing the probability of finding matches and therefore save more lives.

Saving a life is the equivalent of saving the whole of humanity.
