We are seeking City University team members for the world famous TV quiz show on BBC2. Candidates for the team will be selected in a series of heats held in:

The Great Hall, Northampton Square at 6:00pm on Tuesday the 19th of February.

It is free to take part and you do not need to book in advance. Do arrive on time.
The team will consist of four members and a reserve.

If you are selected and get through the first round all candidates must be available for all TV recording dates:

First round:                2 days 19th – 22nd June
Second Round:        2 days 12th – 13th July
So think about your holiday plans. If you are really successful and make the quarter finals, they will be filmed in the autumn term (dates will be confirmed)
Filming will take place in Manchester. The Students’ Union will organise your transport and accommodation.

No contestant should have appeared in the television stages of the show before.

Try some sample questions to see if you would like to take part. If science and not general knowledge is your thing, don’t worry there will be a separate science round.
