The City University rugby XV play our matches on Wednesday afternoon and we play in the SESSA league. We have just one team but we are always looking to recuit new members to the squad, so if you have an interest in playing rugby then please contact either Edward Wilby or Ali Wilson through Rowan in the Resource centre.
We a good standard of physical rugby and we have a cross-section of abilities in the squad ranging from members who play amatuer club rugby on a weekend, to american students looking for a substitute to American Football, to those just looking to have some fun and socialise.
The rugby team is all about socialising and we go out on Wednesday nights after the game where we play an assortment of drinking games involving the trusty funnel. You can tell its the rugby team because we are noisy and very drunk!!!!
If City rugby sounds like something you'd like to get involved in then don't hesitate to get in contact.
